    The Department of Performing Arts offers five programmes. The first three are degree courses 

    and are as follows:

    The Department also receives Post Graduate students who have done music or literature at graduate level and thus give them the knowledge and methods of teaching music, dance and drama in the classroom.

    Other activities of the Department includes an organised student performing group known as The Traveling Theatre Troupe that takes performances to people in and out of the University as an income generating project. Besides this, is the University Jazz Band.
