    Ms. Doreen Misanya Profile

    Assistant Lecturer

    Ms. Doreen Misanya2Ms. Doreen Misanya is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Adult and Community Education of Kyambogo University (since 2015). She also serves as the examinations coordinator in the same department (since 2013). She holds a Diploma in International Online Tutor Course (obtained in 2015 from University of Agder, Kristiansand, Norway), a MSc. Development Management (University of Agder), and a Bachelor of Adult and Community Education, Kyambogo University. Her research interests include; Non-Formal Education, E-learning, Environment Education, Climate Change, Food Security, disaster management, youths studies, gender, local and regional development.

    She also worked as a Research Coordinator with Makerere University Child Health and Development Centre for 6 months (January-June 2015) during which, she coordinated processes of proposal development, data management, and capacity building of the research team. She also worked with the University of Agder from 2012 to June 2016 as an international online tutor.
