The International Relations Office
The International Relations Office at Kyambogo University centralises, coordinates and handles international cooperation activities.
The main areas of work of the office include;
- Supporting and facilitating the cooperation between the University and it’s international partners. It’s role is to strengthen and help develop new and existing international collaborations, by offering information and practical logistics.
- The International Relations Office is responsible for organizing staff and student exchanges, and for welcoming and supporting exchange students as well as international guests at Kyambogo University.
- Kyambogo University has several ongoing collaborations with international partners. These include joint degree programs, joint research and development work, and exchange of students and staff.
Exchange opportunities to Kyambogo University
Kyambogo University welcomes international students to come for one or more semesters, to attend courses, carry out practice or fieldwork. One can attend courses at most departments at the university and apply for admission at Diploma or Undergraduate level.
All lectures are in English and the University facilitates international students to choose the courses that best fit their study needs.
For students that would like to do practical placement in Uganda, the International Relations Office will assist in finding schools or work places for practice. It also facilitates with field work, by linking interested students to organizations or institutions and to the academic staff at Kyambogo University, as well as offering practical guidance and advise.
