Department of Curriculum, Teaching, Instruction and Media Studies

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department, of curriculum teaching instruction and media as created on 1^stJune 2016 from the former department of teacher education and development. It has three major sections namely.

Curriculum section-under Sr. Dr. Kaahwa and Doreen Nazziwa.
Pedagogy section- under Ms. Harriet Mubiru
Media Section-Mr.Kasirye Richard
Research and postgraduate studies –Dr. Namatende Lydia

Based on these sections. Members suggested an amendment in the department name from curriculum teaching, instructions and media (CTIM) TO CURRICULUM, Pedagogy and Media studies (CPM). The department has a post Graduate Coordinator- waiswa Mark Michael (Ph.D.)

The department is a servicing department to the faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of vocational studies, faculty of engineering and school of management and Entrepreneurship as regards all regards who students who are under education.

Programmes in these faculties. The department runs a Ph.D.programme in Education curriculum currently the department is expected is in its final stages
