    Opio_AndrewMr. Opio Andrew is currently a Graduate Fellow in the Department of Adult and Community Education, Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation, Kyambogo University.  He is pursuing a Master’s of Adult and Community Education at Makerere University in Uganda. He also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Analysis using SPSS & STATA from Makerere University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adult and Community Education, Kyambogo University. His research interests are contemporary adult learning strategies, poverty alleviation interventions and public health promotion among youths, women and persons with disabilities (PWDs). He is an alumnus of GHC fellowship and a member of Association of Professional Adult Educators of Uganda (APEAU). Prior to joining the academia, he worked with Global Health Corps (GHC) fellowship programme (2015/2016- fellows’ cohort) as a monitoring, evaluation and grants program officer He also worked with World Vision Uganda as a Child Sponsorship and Development Assistant (CSDA).  He is a social entrepreneur and has trained local communities on entrepreneurship skills development, small scale foods processing and other localised manufacturing. He conducted an undergraduate dissertation on “Experiences and Perceptions of Group Based Learning: A case of Bachelor of Adult and Community Education, Kyambogo University.”
