Invites applications for the academic year 2019/2020 from suitably qualified persons for the under listed programmes offered by the Kyambogo University. Students admitted will start their studies on Saturday 3rd august 2019.The applicants eligieble for admission to Postgraduate Diploma, Master degree and Doctoral programmes at the University must possess prerequisite qualifications (academic and professional) as prescribed in the advertisement. No application for admission shall be considered outside the criteria.
Procedure of application
Applicants should fill the online application form from the website www.admissions.kyu.ac.ug. On submitting the form, printout a pay slip and pay a non-refundable application fee of Uganda shillings 50,000/= (Ugandan, Kenyans, Tanzanians, Rwandese, Burundians & South Sudanese applicants) and Uganda Shillings 75,000/= (International applicants) excluding bank charges at any DFCU Bank/ Eco Bank/Stanbic Bank in
Uganda. The deadline for receiving online application is Sunday March 31st 2019.
Certified copies of your academic documents should be submitted to Kyambogo Graduate School at Central Teaching Facility CTF Room 16 immediately after filling the electronic application forms. Applicants who may find difficulties in applying online should seek help from the Kyambogo University Graduate School.

PUBLIC LECTURE ON CULTURAL HERITAGE

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in conjunction with the Cross Cultural Foundation of Uganda cordially invites you to attend the first public lecture focused on Intangible cultural Heritage. DILOMA/CERTIFICATE ENTRY SCHEME 2019/2020 ADVERTISEMENT


The Academic Registrar, Kyambogo University invites online applications from Diploma/Certificate Holders Scheme only, to under listed undergraduate programmes for 2019/2020 Academic year.
Each applicant should possess at least a Credit or Second Class or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in a relevant field from a recognized Institution plus a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5
passes (i.e. 5 subjects without a grade 9) (or its equivalent) and a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least One Principal Pass and Two Subsidiary Passes obtained at the same sitting (or its equivalent). Please note that the Principal subjects required for admission to Diploma must be passed at Principal or Subsidiary levels.
A non-refundable application fee of Shs. 50,000/= (Fifty thousand shillings only), (Ugandans) and $30 (International Students) plus the
bank charge, must be paid at any Stanbic/DFCU Bank branch and ECO Bank, Revenue collection Account.
Certified copies of Diploma/Certificate Transcripts (not photocopies of certified copies) from the awarding institutions and Passport size photograph MUST be submitted to the Admissions Division Room 3, after payment of application fees.
NOTE: Only applicants with official Certified Academic Transcripts and Certificates will be considered for admission. Each applicant MUST also attach a copy of the Birth Certificate/National Identity
NB. Applicants who may find difficulties filling the online form can receive help at the University. The closing date of online application is 28th February, 2019 at 12.00 am.

Candidates should provide correct information on the year of O’Level, the Index Number and grades obtained per subject.  They must attach a copy of the O’Level Pass Slip, which should be submitted to the Admissions Office with the Application form for verification purposes.  There are cases of candidates who deliberately record better O-Level grades than what they actually obtained or deliberately recording A-Level Index Numbers, which are not theirs.  A’ Level candidates are warned against presenting forged O’Level Pass Slips to the University. Candidates who sat outside Uganda should submit photocopies of original documents in addition to UNEB equivalents.  The pass slips should be stapled on the application form.  Candidates who obtained an over all Grade of 7, 9, Y or Z at O’Level do not qualify for University admission and need not apply.  One should have also passed at least 5 subjects at O’Level (i.e 5 subjects without a Grade 9).
