1. Kyambogo University has allocated funds for the procurement of Medical Insurance Services for its staff.

    2. Kyambogo University now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Medical Insurance Services for Kyambogo University Staff for 2 years.

    3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205, and is open to all bidders.

    4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ug Shs. 100,000 (One hundred thousand shillings only).

      Payment Procedure: Bidders shall obtain a payment reference number from the University Bursar’s Office, which shall be used to make payments in any bank. Evidence of the payment slip shall then be presented to the Procurement and Disposal Unit at the address in 5(b) for issuance of the Solicitation Document.

      Documents will be issued one day from the date of this advert.

    6. Sealed bids clearly marked “Application for Provision of Medical Insurance for Kyambogo University Staff for 2 years” must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) on or before 12:00 Noon, 6th October 2025.

      All bids must be accompanied by bid security (bank guarantee) of Ug. Shs. 20,000,000/=. Bid security shall be valid until 12th May 2026. Late bids shall be rejected.

      Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 6th October 2025 at 2:00 pm.

    7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting on 23rd September 2025 for bidders who choose to attend.
