Harmonized Entrepreneurship Education for Sustainable Development in Africa (HEED-Africa): The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scholarship Programme
The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scholarship Programme is a cooperation and mobility programme in the area of higher education. It promotes cooperation between higher education institutions and supports mobility in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific regions.
The Programme aims to increase access to quality education that will encourage and enable students to undertake postgraduate studies and to promote student retention in the region along with the mobility of staff (academic and administrative) while increasing the competitiveness and attractiveness of the institutions themselves.
Program Title: Consolidating Early-Career Program At Makerere And Other Public Universities (CECAP)
Makerere University received a postdoctoral fellowship development grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, 2022 – 2024. The grant will be aimed at consolidating the research capacity of early-career academics to enhance their research productivity and ability to contribute effectively to global knowledge generation at MAK and its four partner public Universities (Busitema, Gulu, Kyambogo, Mbarara). The Grant will support 25 fellows (15 MAK;10 PPUs) awarded on a competitive basis, to begin by 2022. We now invite applications from eligible staff employed at Makerere University or any of the four partner public University named above.
Call for Applications: Kyambogo University and Hochschule Mainz, University of Applied Science, School of Business (HMBS) will award. 2 scholarships to first-year students of the MBA program for a 5-months study abroad stay at HMBS between September 2022 and January 2023.

The EAC Scholarship Programme is an initiative of the East African Community (EAC), the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) and German Development BankKfW. The project began in 2018 when the EAC and IUCEA entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with KfW geared towards the training of students within the EAC Region. This Project aims at creating future change agents, who identify themselves with the integration agenda of the EAC and are willing to share economic and development-oriented expert knowledge.
