- The 20th graduation will be held on 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th December 2024.
- The venue for the ceremony will be EAST END PITCH.
- Gates and Parking areas to be used:-
a). Graduands;
- Graduands who will use Kyambogo Road will park at Cricket Oval grounds and will access the parking through the Cricket Oval gate. After parking they will access the venue through Fisher Road.
- Graduands who will use the Northern Bypass, East African Road, Ntinda-Kiwatule Road and enter through the Northern gate (Kabaka’s gate) will park at Peace Park grounds.
- Graduands who will use Ntinda-Kiwatule road and enter through the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) road will also park at Peace Park grounds and a multipurpose science building parking yard.
- Note. Eastern gate (Banda gate) will not be used by the graduands. It’s reserved for University VIPS and service providers for the three days of the function from 05 a.m.- 02 p.m
b). University Staff;
- Staff who will use the western gate will drive through Fisher Road and connect to Harlow Road and access the parking at Central Library or Barclays Parking, accessed through the gate opposite the Faculty of Agriculture.
- Staff who will use the Northern gate (Kabaka’s gate) will access Central Library through Spring Road.
c). VVIPS;
All will park at the Senate building parking yard. i.e. the Chief Guest, Chairperson Council, Vice Chairperson Council, Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and deputies, University Secretary, Bursar and Chief Human Resources.
d). VIPS;
- All will park at Technical Teacher Education (TTE) or Central Teaching Facility (CTF) parking yards. Those who will use the Eastern gate and Main gate will use Fisher Road and connect to Harlow Road and access the parkings.
- Those who will use Kabaka gate will use Spring Road and access the Parking yards at CTF and TTE.
4. Invitation cards and Stickers: All graduates and invited guests must carry along the invitation card and car sticker. The invitation card allows only the graduate and two parents/guardians. Only invitation card and sticker holders will be allowed entry into the University for the four days of graduation, starting 05:00 a.m. – 02:00 p.m.
5. Vendors; only accredited Vendors will be allowed at the gazetted places for vending within the University as guided by estates and security and must not be near the Main venue for graduation.
