1. Kyambogo University is the second-largest Public University in Uganda. It was established in 2003 under the Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act, of 2001. The University developed its Master Plan 2013-2030 which was approved by Council in 2013.  The Plan presents a long-range path for the physical and infrastructural development of the University.

2. The University is now in the process of reviewing its Master Plan 2013- 2030, as a result of new developments and advancements.

3. The University now invites eligible consultants to express interest for the “Provision of Consultancy Services to conduct a Mid-Term Review of Kyambogo University Master Plan 2013-2030”.

4. Eligibility criteria

  • Proof of Company Registration
  • Powers of Attorney certified by the Commissioner of Oaths or notarized in case they are issued outside Uganda.
  • A valid copy of the bidder’s trading license or equivalent
  • A valid copy of the bidder’s tax clearance certificate or equivalent
  • A joint venture agreement, in case of a joint venture
  • Audited books of account for the last three (3) years
  • Not insolvent, in receivership, bankrupt or being wound up or subject to legal proceedings for any of these circumstances
  • Have proof of fulfilling obligations of social security contributions where applicable
  • Have the nationality of an eligible country in accordance with PPDA or any applicable treaties to which Uganda subscribes
  • Not under suspension by the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority or relevant procurement regulatory institution. 

The firm should demonstrate experience in undertaking at least one project of a similar nature with a consultancy fee of at least 300,000,000/=.

5. The consultant will be selected in accordance with the PPDA Act and Guidelines.

6. Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of joint venture or sub-consultancy, where applicable, must be clearly indicated in the Expression of Interest.

7. Expression of Interest clearly marked “Provision of Consultancy Services to conduct a Mid-Term Review of Kyambogo University Master Plan 2013-2030” should be delivered to the address below, not later than 5th February 2024 by 11:00 A.M. and opening at 11:30P.M local time to the address below;
