Principal Internal Auditor – Financial Operations

CPA. Luwandagga Apollo. C is The Principal Internal Auditor – Financial Operations at Kyambogo University.

Apollo joined Kyambogo University in February 2013 as a Head of Salaries and Wages Section in the Directorate of Finance.

Before joining Kyambogo University, Apollo served as a Head of Internal Audit at Njeru Municipal Council.

His specialties include:  Auditing, Budgeting, Financial analysis, Internal Control Analysis and Financial Reporting.

He also doubles as a Part-Time Lecturer in the School of Management and Entrepreneurship.

Apollo is a Member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda-ICPA (U), The Institute of Internal Auditors-IIA(U), and The Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda-ICG(U).

He is a Certified ISO 31000 Risk Management Professional, He holds a Master of Business Administration (Accounting & Finance) from Kyambogo University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) of Makerere University Kampala with over 5 and 10 years’ experience in Public Finance Management and Auditing respectively.
