Mandate:
The mandate of the medical centre is to provide health services to the Kyambogo University community that is students, staff, staff families and other individuals from the neighborhood community.
University Medical Centre Legal Status:
The Medical Centre is regulated and registered by the Uganda Medical and Dental council which is body governing Health Service delivery in Uganda.
Overall objective of Medical Centre.
To provide both curative and prevention health services to staff and students.
Specific Objectives for the Medical Centre
To provide curative and preventive services to staff, students & the surrounding community
To plan and budget for health service delivery and infrastructure in the University
To Provide technical guidance to University management.
To Liaise with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders in enforcing adherence to the National Health Service Delivery Standards.
