Semester 2 fees include the tuition amount and Shs 100,000 for examination. Internship fees for International students are Shs 375,000 and Shs 225,000 respectively.

Important Note:

  • Access your portal (https://myportal.kyu.ac.ug) and enrol at the beginning of every semester for you to be billed. Remember to select the semester’s course units.
  • Obtain a valid reference number (expires within two weeks) by accessing your portal at https://myportal.kyu.ac.ug or from the ICT office at the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences or at the faculty or school before making any payment. Registration is done every semester upon full payment of fees.
  • Activate your Kyambogo University student email, e.g., 2100800760@std.kyu.ac.ug, and use it to communicate with all university relevant offices.
  • All fees stated exclude bank charges and surcharges.
  • Make all payments in any of the Uganda Revenue Authority-designated banks.
  • All students should complete fees settlement and registration within eight (08) weeks from the starting date of the academic year or semester.
  • All fresh students who do not register within eight weeks will be deemed to have turned down the admission offer.
  • Do not hand over fees to any other person except at the bank counters. Be aware of conmen.
  • Under normal circumstances, the semester runs for 120 days. So manage your personal finances accordingly.
  • To pay the National Council for Higher Education, login to ura.go.ug – e-services, payments registration.
